It all started with Dad's Voightlander Vito II. Soon, I became the one to take photographs. Through high school and college, photography gave me opportunities that I wouldn't have been allowed to witness otherwise. As the photojournalist in me gained experience I became more aware of anticipating and planning that special shot, that moment of happiness and joy, and that moment of sadness and grief.
